特斯拉宣布全球裁員10％！馬斯克致函員工揭背後原因特斯拉執行長馬斯克（Elon Musk）在信函中表示，公司的快速擴張導致某些部門中的部分角色與工作職能重複。因此，特斯拉決定裁員10％，以提高生產力和效率。
稍早，美國長期關注特斯拉走向的能源新聞網站《Electrek》引述員工說法指出，特斯拉此次的裁員人數可能高達20％，但特斯拉隨即在台灣時間15日下午3時左右，發布官方信函證實裁員比例為10％。而馬斯克也在信中對即將離開特斯拉的員工表達感謝，同時對留下的員工傳遞期望。馬斯克提及，特斯拉正致力於在汽車、能源和人工智慧（AI）等領域創新，並期待員工努力推動公司實現更多目標。
雖然特斯拉此次大動作裁員10％的人力，不過，公司的員工數量仍持續增加中。馬斯克強調，裁員後，特斯拉將擁有更精簡的組織結構，成本也會隨之降低，公司也將做好準備迎接下一階段的成長。
自2017年以來，特斯拉已進行5次大規模裁員，並分別在2017年、2018年、2019年及2022年裁掉2％、9％、7％與3％的員工。特斯拉今年裁員10％創歷年來新高。

“Over the years, we have grown rapidly with multiple factories scaling around the globe. With this rapid growth there has been duplication of roles and job functions in certain areas. As we prepare the company for our next phase of growth, it is extremely important to look at every aspect of the company for cost reductions and increasing productivity.
As part of this effort, we have done a thorough review of the organization and made the difficult decision to reduce our headcount by more than 10% globally. There is nothing I hate more, but it must be done. This will enable us to be lean, innovative and hungry for the next growth phase cycle. I would like to thank everyone who is departing Tesla for their hard work over the years. I’m deeply grateful for your many contributions to our mission and we wish you well in your future opportunities.
It is very difficult to say goodbye. For those remaining, I would like to thank you in advance for the difficult job that remains ahead. We are developing some of the most revolutionary technologies in auto, energy and artificial intelligence.
